Keep It Clean

REUSE, RECYCLE & COMPOST!

Over the years we have been working hard to reduce the amount of landfill generated by the festival and the reults speak for themselves. BUT we know we can do better with your help!

Multi bin stations are available across the festival site with some funky signage so you can’t miss them! Waste Warriors will be stationed around the festival armed with environmental passion and knowledge to assist you in keeping our site clean, making sustainable choices and correct use of our waste collection system! Give them a high 5!

REUSE

Caloundra Music Festival is a proud supporter of the BYO Bottle campaigne. There are plenty of free water refill stations around the site. Montville Mist Spring Water refills are available for purchase from Patron Services.

CMF branded Reusable Wine Cups are used in all bars for service of wine. Purchase your cup at the start of the day and take it home at the end of the night. Don’t forget to bring it back each day! NOTE: CMF branded reusable cups are the only cups accepted at bars for refills.

RECYCLE

If you have some rubbish to dispose of please make sure you choose the right bin! Our bin signage will help you figure out which bin to use.

Recycle (Yellow) – Plastics, paper, cardboard

Cans (Pink) – Cans only

Landfill (Red) – General waste like nappies, chip and lollie packets etc.

Compost (Green) – All food scraps and compostable packaging

COMPOST

Our amazing Waste Warriors make sure that they check and sort all your waste – this way we can send all our compostable waste off to Earthborn Organic Recycling. So PLEASE help them out by using the right bin for your compostable waste. We’ve made it a bit easier for you by ensuring that all packaing used by our CMF food vendors is compostable!
