ALYS FFION

Alys Ffion has seen recent success as the pen behind #1 Country Radio Hit “Get it Girl” by Sunshine Coast alumni Taylor Moss, & epic family moment “I Move Slow” on Aussie icon Jimmy Barnes’ most recent release. 2023 brings nominations for an APRA AWARD – Most Performed Country Song for her efforts on Moss’ “Get it Girl” and a Q Music Award for Country Song of the Year for Moss’ “What Am I Gonna Do?”. 10 years spent honing her craft whilst living between Nashville, LA & Australia paired with a deeply personal storytelling style and an intricate knowledge of alternate guitar tunings has made her a sought after musical collaborator on an international level. The prolific songwriter is rearing to release as an independent artist for the first time in her career, beginning with heartfelt confessional “I’ve Never Loved Anyone” & uncomfortably honest “Please Don’t Say Hi” (both efforts in collaboration with Jay Bovino – aria award winning songwriter, producer and founding member of “Sheppard”). An unpredictable release follows – dusting off songs she thought may never see the light of day, the songbird sets “2018 Demos” free – a 9 track EP featuring long lost recordings born of her escapades in Nashville. A humble nod of respect to her past as she boldly steps into a future of new music. 2023 will see Ffion release her most vulnerable, lyrically dense body of work to date – she’s ready to unapologetically sing her story.
