Meanjin darlings, The Dandys, are making noise throughout the east coast and it’s hard to ignore. The 4 piece alt-rock outfit are reinvigorating Brisbane’s live music scene with their refreshing sound and infectious energy.
The band flourished out of a uni project late 2021 and dove headfirst into the scene, gigging relentlessly and releasing their debut single, ‘Good Life’. Since then, The Dandys have not slowed down, releasing singles ‘Lemons’, ‘Take You Home’ and their latest single ‘Smile More’ which received airplay on Triple J. The Dandys have supported artists like Waax, Adam Newling, The Grogans, Rum Jungle, Hope D and played at major festivals including Splendour In The Grass 2023, Crafted Festival, Jungle Love & More!
